Time to chill

Our top tips for a relaxed spa visit

As the temperatures heat up, we wanted to take the opportunity to share our top tips for a chilled spa visit. Read on to discover how to ensure your spa experience is as relaxing as it can be

Dress comfortably

Our soft, cosy robes are perfect for snuggling on a lounger, but when the weather is warmer you may prefer to bring a coverup or t-shirt to slip on when you are dining.

Loungers

We kindly ask you to be considerate of other spa users. If you’re heading to the pool, feel free to leave your towel and belongings on your lounger. However, if you’re planning to explore other facilities, enjoy a meal, or indulge in a treatment, please remove your towel and personal items to allow others to use the space.

Shower and remove skincare products

To enjoy the benefits of spa treatments we recommend removing all makeup, etc.

Unplug, relax, and be present

Whilst we allow mobile phones on silent mode throughout the spa, we encourage you to take the opportunity to switch off for a few hours and allow yourself to be fully present within your surroundings, helping reduce anxiety and stress. If you are someone who enjoys documenting your spa visits, we ask that you take extra care not to capture others in your images and keep your phone on silent. If you need to make a voice call please remember to head to a green phone box or a reception area.

Keep hydrated

Heat treatments and warm environments mean that it is extra important to keep fully hydrated throughout your visit.

Tips

We add an 8% discretionary service charge to food and drinks served in our restaurant and via our lounger service. The entirety of the tips will be shared amongst the Nirvana Spa food & beverage team. An 8% discretionary service charge is also added to any spa treatments; this will go directly to your spa therapist. If you wish to remove these charges, please let a member of the team know during checkout.
